Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support financial operations, with a primary focus on invoicing, payment processing, and reporting activities, especially during period-end and year-end cycles.

Location: Baku

Salary: 1,200 AZN (net)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner (including year-end invoicing)

  • Process incoming and outgoing payments

  • Maintain and monitor accounts receivable and payable

  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial transactions

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Prepare and submit financial reports as required

  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies

  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience

  • Experience with invoicing and payment processing

  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and reporting

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Ability to meet deadlines, especially during closing periods

The role will serve as the key link between the project and local communities, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and compliance with international environmental and social standards.
