Job Description:

  • We are currently seeking an Engineering Systems IT Technician to support engineering and design teams by ensuring the stable operation of engineering software, digital models, and technical IT infrastructure.

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Employment Type: Full-time

This role is ideal for an IT professional with hands-on experience in technical support within engineering, construction, or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain engineering software (AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SmartPlant, PDMS, etc.)

  • Manage software licenses, updates, and system compatibility

  • Support and maintain engineering workstations, hardware, and peripherals

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to engineering systems and workflows

  • Ensure data integrity, digital standards, and document/model control

  • Provide user support and onboarding training for engineering tools

  • Collaborate with engineering and document control teams

Requirements:

  • 2–4+ years of experience in IT support (preferably in engineering or EPC environments)

  • Strong knowledge of Autodesk tools (AutoCAD, Plant 3D)

  • Experience with engineering design software (SmartPlant, PDMS, etc.) is an advantage

  • Good understanding of hardware, networking, and workstation setup

  • Fluency in English is mandatory

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The role will serve as the key link between the project and local communities, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and compliance with international environmental and social standards.
