We are looking for candidates for a Senior QA Engineer role to join us at SABAH HUB! Responsibilities: Perform manual functional, integration, and regression testing for **web and mobile platforms** Conduct **API testing*using tools like Postman and Swagger, including endpoint validation and negative testing Review requirements and identify unclear or missing details before testing begins Prioritize testing using a **risk-based approach*when time is limited Execute exploratory testing to discover hidden issues beyond test cases Maintain testing documentation and test cases for multiple products Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments Verify bug fixes and ensure proper regression coverage Lead and mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code/test case reviews Define and own the overall QA strategy and testing standards for the team Participate in architecture and design reviews to flag testability issues early Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, or E2E) Set up and improve CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test runs Track and report on quality metrics (defect density, test coverage, escape rate) to stakeholders Drive shift-left testing practices Requirements for the candidate: Fluency in Azerbaijan and English; Strong experience with **API testing*(Postman, Swagger) Experience in UI testing for web and mobile applications Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools Ability to switch between projects quickly without losing attention to detail Strong communication skills to prevent miscommunication across multiple stakeholders Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC Experience with defect root cause analysis and issue prevention strategies Risk-based testing mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines Comfortable in Agile environments with frequent scope changes Experience with at least one test automation framework (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium for mobile) Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Ability to write basic scripts for test data setup or automation support (Python, JS, etc.) Experience with performance or load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust) Knowledge of security testing basics (OWASP Top 10 awareness, input validation, auth testing) Experience with database/SQL querying for backend verification Ability to evaluate and introduce new QA tools and processes to the team Experience working with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria ​​​​​​​Benefits and Perks: As a team member at SABAH.HUB, you’ll enjoy: Competitive Salary that aligns with industry standards; Comprehensive benefits package, including Medical Insurance and Push30   Subscription; Employee assistance programs, providing professional development and career growth opportunities; Company-sponsored social events, team-building activities, and volunteer opportunities. Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, vector databases (ChromaDB, Pinecone), and LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain or LlamaIndex). Key Responsibilities Independently design and implement scalable backend components and database schemas for new features. Develop complex AI-driven workflows, including multi-step agentic behaviors and high-performance data parsing from LLMs. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize database queries, and reduce AI response latency. Conduct rigorous Code Reviews for peers and junior developers, ensuring adherence to SOLID principles and industry best practices. Design and maintain robust, versioned RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are secure and well-documented (OpenAPI/Swagger). Manage production environments, monitor logs (ELK stack, Prometheus/Grafana), and troubleshoot critical on-site issues. Guide Junior developers, assist in breaking down high-level business requirements into technical tasks, and provide accurate effort estimations. Create advanced Bash/Python scripts to automate infrastructure management and local/staging deployment processes. Take an active role in Scrum ceremonies, often leading technical discussions during sprint planning and refinements.
