Join Novo Nordisk Region Emerging Markets, Supply Chain Center of Excellence for BAMECA (Business Area Middle East Central Asia) & BAAF (Business Area Africa) as Supply Chain COE Manager and get a life-changing career! The position will be responsible for CIS countries. This position is to be based either in Istanbul (Turkey) or Baku (Azerbaijan) or Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
The position
As Supply Chain COE Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring Novo Nordisk product availability to patients across CIS countries with uninterrupted, efficient, and compliant supply. You will demonstrate a growth-focused mindset by proactively finding and adding value to our customer and stakeholder relations in and beyond the affiliates and also ensure product availability for in-market demand, appropriate inventory levels and accurate replenishment from our production to the countries. Besides you will support the product supply chain into and within the CIS countries in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), local legislation & business requirements (including management of third-party distribution partners).
Some other responsibilities will be

  • Organising and coordinating S&OP meetings between Finance & Operations heads, Commercial, Quality and other process owners in the CIS countries to ensure timely product supply, launches of new products & discontinuation of withdrawal products,

  • Being in charge of product orders and communication with the Production sites, ensure correct planning of supply as well as being responsible for planning of delivery timetables and overseeing arrival of shipments,

  • Ensuring optimal stock levels, incl. mandatory safety stocks according to local laws and driving and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure forecasting system is up to date and of the highest possible standard,

  • Standardizing and harmonizing the processes of CIS countries wherever applicable,

  • Ensuring that documentation is produced and stored according to internal and external requirements, and that appropriate actions are executed in a timely manner in the event of a product recall or stock related crisis management situation in line with relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure),

  • Checking diligently L/C’s (Letter of Credit) to avoid any discrepancies, controlling the L/C and relevant bank documents upon receipt and ensuring that required conditions are applicable

Qualifications
You have minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, preferably in demand/supply planning, operations, forecasting, customer service and import/export environment. It is expected that you hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain or similar. Having a master’s degree in supply chain would be plus and pharmaceutical industry knowledge would be preferable. Further sought-after skills are:

  • fluency in English and Russian is a must.

  • Experience with S&OE and S&OP

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred); experience with OMP is a plus.

  • Experience with project management and a mindset towards business development and continuous improvement

  • Strong analytical, coordination, collaboration, problem-solving and communication skills in order to ensure major supply chain tasks are achieved and various stakeholders managed.
