Carry out the offshore surveys required to establish initial data to initiate design/development activities. Prepare the Offshore Design Survey Report in association with the Lead Discipline Designer and Discipline Engineer. Develop and prepare all necessary design drawings, job cards and commissioning documentation in association with the Lead Discipline Designer and Discipline engineer. Assist in the preparation of all project related equipment and materials procurement documentation. Carry out inspections as required of onshore procured materials and fabricated items. Assist in the supervision of sub-contract installation personnel carrying out inspections, repairs and installation of process systems and structures, with regard to engineering projects. Attend scheduled trainings Share experience and knowledge with new employees Submit regular reports as per requirements of appropriate work related procedures Respect the confidentiality of work related information Qualificatins: The Senior Structural Designer shall have a bachelor degree on civil and structural engineering and hold a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Industry and in similar roles. Work location: ISR Plaza Responsibilities Assist Lead Planning Engineer in developing and maintaining baseline project schedules in line with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Prepare, update, and issue project schedules (Level 2–3) and assist with development of Level 1 and Level 4 schedules. Monitor project progress against baseline and report variances, delays, and potential risks to Project Manager and Lead Planning Engineer. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to collect progress data and incorporate updates into project schedules. Review and comment on contractor and subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with overall project schedule. Develop and update man-hour forecasts, manpower histograms, progress “S” curves, and tabulations. Support in preparation of monthly progress reports, including narrative and schedule updates. Liaise with cost engineers to ensure schedule and cost forecasts are integrated for accurate reporting. Support schedule risk analysis activities as required. Participate in progress review meetings with clients, contractors, and internal project teams. Timely preparation and issue of the following documentation Overall Project Schedule Level 1 Project Schedule Level 2 Project Network Level 3 Project Construction Level 4 Progress 'S' Curves and tabulations Manhour/Manpower histograms Monthly progress report including narrative Skills and Experience 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, or relevant experience in the oil and gas industry. Practical knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and project controls processes. Familiarity with construction schedules and engineering deliverable planning. Understanding of norms and productivity measures. Good knowledge of industry and company management processes. Strong IT knowledge, including Excel and Word. Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential. Ability to analyze project data, identify risks/delays, and recommend recovery actions. Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate electrical design activities across multiple projects. Produce and review electrical deliverables including: Single line diagrams, wiring/termination diagrams, cable schedules Lighting, earthing, and small power layouts Electrical equipment and installation drawings Develop and maintain electrical models for cable routing, equipment placement, and clash detection. Integrate electrical models with other disciplines (piping, structural, instrumentation) in platforms such as SmartPlant 3D, AVEVA PDMS/E3D, or equivalent. Develop and prepare all necessary design drawings, (i.e. SLD, Block Diagrams, Cable tray routing, cable schedule, Lighting layouts) job cards and ITPs documentation in association with the Lead Discipline Designer and Discipline engineer. Assist in the preparation of all project related equipment and materials procurement documentation. Carry out inspections as required of onshore procured materials and fabricated items. Generate deliverables directly from 3D models where applicable. Participate in model reviews and provide constructability feedback. Ensure compliance with international codes, project specifications, and client SoW/SoR. Support site surveys, inspections, and as-built updates into deliverables. Mentor and guide junior designers in modeling practices. Ensure HSSE requirements are embedded in all design outputs. Accountabilities Reports to the Engineering Manager. Provides design leadership within the electrical discipline. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical design for oil and gas projects. Strong background in CAD type environment Hands-on experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SmartPlant 3D, AVEVA PDMS/E3D, Navisworks). Proven ability to prepare and check complex electrical design deliverables. Familiarity with international design standards (IEC, BS, IEEE, etc.). Experience with multidisciplinary 3D model integration and clash resolution. Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Design (or equivalent experience).
