PR & Communication Manager

The German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) is seeking a PR & Communication Manager to strengthen its external communications, marketing activities, and public visibility of German-Azerbaijani economic relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AHK Azerbaijan’s PR and communication strategy

• Provide general support to the Market Entry, Trade Fairs and Communication Department

• Prepare, edit, and translate press releases, official statements, and communication materials

• Create and manage content for social media channels and digital platforms

• Oversee the preparation and editing of newsletters and publications

• Responsible for the development and regular updating of the AHK Azerbaijan website

• Coordinate media relations and maintain strong relationships with media partners

• Promote AHK Azerbaijan events and conferences, including media announcements and coverage

• Organize press conferences when required

• Conduct media monitoring and research communication trends

• Create and edit visual and video content

• Prepare presentations and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• University degree in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Economics, or a related field

• Proven experience in PR, communications, or marketing (international or corporate experience is an advantage)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently

• Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset

• Proficiency in MS Office tools

• Excellent Azerbaijani and German (spoken and written); English is an asset

• Confidence in preparing and delivering presentations
