Key Responsibilities Curriculum Implementation: Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons based on Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, or IGCSE/A-Level stages. Conceptual Understanding: Focus on developing students' mental strategies and deep understanding of mathematical concepts rather than rote memorization. Assessment & Tracking: Conduct regular assessments aligned with Cambridge Checkpoint or IGCSE standards and provide constructive feedback. ICT Integration: Utilize digital tools and mathematical software (e.g., Geogebra, MyMaths, or interactive whiteboards) to enhance learning. Interdisciplinary Approach: Collaborate with Science and ICT departments to demonstrate the real-world application of mathematics. Requirements & Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related STEM field. Certification: Valid teaching license or professional certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Experience: Proven experience in a Cambridge International School or a school using international standards (IB/Common Core). Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English (Strong communication skills to explain complex abstract concepts clearly). Native or near-native English proficiency (Minimum C1/C2 level or IELTS 7.0+). Technical Skills: Familiarity with the Cambridge Teacher Support Service and digital assessment platforms. Requirements & Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biology, Biological Sciences, or a closely related field (e.g., Biochemistry, Biomedical Science). Certification: A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or International Teaching License). Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Cambridge Biology at the Secondary or High School level.
