Logistics Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations at a strategic level, optimize processes, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

• This role will oversee Warehouse and Transportation teams and ensure seamless and effective logistics operations in line with the fast-paced and dynamic requirements of the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s logistics strategy;

• Optimize inventory management and distribution processes, considering the high turnover nature of the FMCG sector;

• Manage goods receiving, storage, inventory control, transportation, and distribution processes efficiently;

• Lead and evaluate the performance of Warehouse and Transportation teams;

• Plan transportation activities, optimize routes, and control transportation costs;

• Oversee the management of company-owned vehicles;

• Monitor and analyze fuel expenses of the vehicle fleet and implement cost optimization measures;

• Supervise vehicle maintenance and repair processes, control service expenses, and ensure uninterrupted fleet operations;

• Plan and manage the logistics budget and initiate cost optimization initiatives;

• Define KPIs, conduct regular performance analysis, and implement continuous improvement actions;

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Planning, Finance, and Procurement departments to maintain optimal stock levels and service standards;

• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and logistics service providers and evaluate service quality;

• Identify operational risks and implement preventive measures to ensure uninterrupted supply;

• Ensure compliance of logistics operations with regulatory requirements and industry standards;

• Prepare analytical and performance reports for senior management;

• Support team development by providing training, guidance, and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field;

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics;

• FMCG sector experience is an advantage;

• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse management, and transportation planning;

• Proven leadership and team management skills;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;

• Experience in budget management and cost control;

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel);

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;

• Languages: English and Russian – intermediate level.
