Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Economics, Pharmacy, or a related field
5–8 years of experience in export management or international sales
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG exports is strongly preferred
Proven experience in distributor management and cross-border logistics
Strong understanding of international trade, Incoterms, and export documentation
Experience with pricing, contracts, and distributor agreements
Ability to manage multiple markets and priorities simultaneously
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work across cultures and geographies
Clear written and verbal communication
Azerbaijani – fluent, English – advanced (mandatory), Russian - advanced (mandatory) due to CIS markets
Key Responsibilities:
Export Sales & Market Development
Develop and implement export strategies to expand the company’s presence in international markets
Identify and evaluate new export markets, partners, and distributors
Achieve export sales targets in line with approved budgets and strategic plans
Distributor & Partner Management
Select, appoint, and manage export distributors and partners
Lead negotiations on commercial terms, pricing, and contracts
Monitor distributor performance, market coverage, and compliance with agreements
Regulatory & Documentation Coordination
Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure product registrations, renewals, and variations in export markets
Ensure accuracy and completeness of export documentation (invoices, certificates, COO, GMP, CPP, etc.)
Support responses to regulatory and authority queries in export countries
Logistics & Supply Coordination
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure timely product availability
Manage export logistics in line with Incoterms, customer requirements, and cold-chain conditions where applicable
Monitor shipment execution, delivery performance, and issue resolution
Forecasting & Planning
Prepare export sales forecasts and demand plans in coordination with Supply Chain
Support production and packaging planning for export markets
Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking in export channels
Financial & Performance Management
Monitor export pricing, margins, and profitability
Coordinate with Finance on payments, credit terms, and risk management
Prepare regular export performance reports for management
Compliance & Ethics
Ensure compliance with company policies, export regulations, trade controls, and ethical standards
Support audits related to export operations and international partners
