Team Leadership & Development

  • Leads, coaches and develops the CSE team.

  • Sets performance objectives, conducts regular performance reviews and supports career development

  • Ensures adequate resource allocation across solution and project engineering workstreams

  • Builds a culture of technical excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement within the team

  • Facilitates knowledge sharing across the CSE network, locally and virtually

Solution Planning & Sales Support

  • Oversees the provision of technical expertise to the sales team across non-standard and modernisation cases

  • Reviews and approves solution plans, costings, specifications and lead time commitments on major projects

  • Ensures KONE offerings and specifications are positioned effectively in customer building specifications

  • Supports the team in customer meetings and technical negotiations when required

  • Ensures correct product platform selection, solution costing and alignment with Supply Line and local sourcing

  • Drives early engagement with customers and specifiers to embed KONE technical standards

  • Oversees traffic analyses, energy calculations, and technical site surveys for complex cases

Project Engineering & Delivery

  • Oversees project engineering activities from start-up meeting through to handover to maintenance

  • Reviews layouts, change order proposals and engineering documentation on complex modernisation projects

  • Ensures variance between site design and site reality is identified and resolved promptly

  • Monitors milestone completion (particularly Milestone 2) and intervenes where engineering issues risk delay

  • Acts as escalation point for technical issues arising during project execution

  • Ensures smooth handover of engineering information to Project Managers, Installation Supervisors and Maintenance Supervisors

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensures all engineering solutions comply with local codes, regulations and KONE Engineering Policy

  • Monitors and drives error-free delivery metrics across the team

  • Maintains alignment with environmental and sustainability requirements

  • Ensures correct and timely use of KONE systems

General Responsibilities

  • Participates in product and new service release information-sharing sessions

  • Provides technical training to Sales, Installation and Maintenance teams as required

  • Offers input to product offering management on customisation, standardisation and interface requirements

  • Acts as the primary technical contact for the Supply Line Tendering Engineers

Technical Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of elevator and escalator modernisation and new equipment solutions

  • Proficiency in engineering tools: CAD, BIM

  • Good knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements

  • Knowledge of supply engineering, installation and maintenance processes

Entry-Level Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in the similar industry

  • Minimum 3 years of team leadership or management experience

  • Working level of English

  • Knowledge of Azerbaijani and/or Russian is an advantage

  • IT literacy; proficiency in ERP and CRM systems preferred

IT Support Specialist / Junior System Administrator
