Civil Engineer

Our company is currently looking for a “Civil Engineer” to work under the following conditions:

• Work Location: Regions of Azerbaijan

• Type of Assignment: Contract

• Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day.

• Start Date: ASAP

• Salary: based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Participation in fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates and surveys.

• Assisting in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase.

• Under the guidance of Sr Engineers, assist in the reviewing supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analysis.

• Assisting in the preparation of specifications, data sheets, and other industrial construction documents.

• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)

• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications

• Conduct all civil works procedure and performance qualifications

• Assist the manager in preparing report to be submitted to stakeholders by providing necessary information on the progress of the business

• Draw up blueprints according to technical specifications

• Assess potential risks, materials and labor costs

• Provide advice and suggestions to resolve problems

• Produce reports in project status

• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits

• Participate in hazard and reliability analysis as required.

• Perform Civils troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis.

Job Requirements:

• BS/MA in relevant field is preferable

• 3-5 years of experience in civil works

• Working knowledge of industry and government standards

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals

• Communication and interpersonal skills

• Analytical Thinking

• Understand Diagrams, Drafts, Flow-Charts, and Other Information and Documentation

• Advanced knowledge of Azeri and English
