The main responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper organization and management of the technical department

  • Prepare and approve the annual technical activity plan

  • Monitor the preparation of work schedules in accordance with the workload and priorities of the technical department

  • Monitor the implementation of preventive maintenance of equipment and technical services in guest rooms

  • Lead the implementation of an effective problem reporting system, along with other daily general maintenance and repair work

  • Prepare purchase requisitions in conjunction with the procurement department

  • Prepare appropriate specifications for all works involving external contractors or consultants

requirements for the candidate:

  • Higher technical education (plumbing filed is an advantage) ;

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in managerial role (hospitality background will be advantage)

  • Ability to train/coach employees when it is required

Main duties: Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience. Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone. Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay. Handle cash and credit transactions Start every stay right by swiftly checking guests in and out - take IDs, hand out room keys, and control and release safety deposit boxes. Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs – record and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, questions, and concerns. Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary. Stay safe all the time. Following our safety procedures, you’ll report all incidents and wear any protective gear needed. Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador. Always know what events and activities are on the day’s schedule. Candidate requirements: Previous hotel experience is preferable. Strong working knowledge of related computer software, including restaurant management software. Knowledge of Hotel PMS is preferable. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian or/and English languages. Highly responsible & reliable.
