Job Description:
The Equipment Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Equipment Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations.
Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well
both independently and in a team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
Ensure individual and crew work safety.
Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
Maintain the required safety training.
Qualifications and Experience:
Technical diploma in Engineering, Geology, Mechanical, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in mud logging, drilling, cementing, or other well construction operations is an advantage.
Familiarity with oilfield equipment, tools, and rig operations.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
Willingness to work in field locations and rotational schedules.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in English is an advantage.
