Job description:

  • Prepare and submit all statutory reports in accordance with tax obligations of clients;

  • Manage all bank and cash transactions (preparing payment orders, expense reports and other related documents);

  • Prepare clients’ commercial sales invoices;

  • Make accounting entries based on clients’ transactions in accounting software (1C, SAP or other);

  • Prepare payroll calculations;

  • Assist in preparation of management and financial reports;

  • Handle disputes and correspondence with state tax authorities on behalf of clients;

  • Timely respond clients’ queries;

  • Carry out month-end closing processes;

  • Supervise and lead junior staff;

  • Assist in conducting tax audit processes for clients;

  • Perform other daily tasks as per the requirement.

Candidate requirements:

  • University degree in economics, finance, accounting and/or other related business disciplines;

  • Strong knowledge in tax and labour legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

  • Solid skills and working experience in MS Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and 1C accounting software (other accounting software is an advantage);

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in the related filed;

  • Intermediate level of English (Russian is an advantage);

  • Professional qualifications are an additional advantage (such as ACCA F3, F7, PMS);

  • Strong motivation for growth and professional development;

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet the deadlines;

  • Problem-solving and decision- making skills.

Job Responsibilities: Make accounting entries based on clients’ transactions in accounting software (1C, SAP or other); Assist in preparing draft tax returns (Simplified, VAT, WHT, etc.) under the supervision of senior staff; Manage bank and cash transactions (preparing payment orders, expense reports, cash receipt and disbursement orders and other related documents); Support in preparing management reports, and aging reports; Conduct basic research on tax and accounting legislation, and regulations; Provide administrative support for client engagements, including document management and filing; Perform other tax, accounting and finance related tasks assigned by senior staff. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, economics or related business disciplines; Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting/finance (experience in a similar role preferred); Basic knowledge of accounting and taxation principles; Professional qualifications or progress toward ACCA (F3, or equivalent) are an advantage; Strong knowledge of MS Office applications; Pre-intermediate level of English; Good analytical thinking. Senior Tax Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our team, playing a crucial role in delivering top-tier tax reporting and accounting services to our clients. Job description: Lead the significant number of accounting outsourcing and tax compliance projects; Oversee all accounting/ bookkeeping operations and manage the month-end closing procedures for clients; Review all type of statutory reports prepared by junior staff; Preparing of period-end financial reports based on IFRS: Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Cash Flows (if agreed in clients’ scope); Oversee and organize the process and giving instructions to junior staff for tax audit projects. Preparing of tax audit report outlining findings and associated tax risks; Manage junior staff and provide guidance; Timely respond clients’ queries; Participating in meeting and conference calls with clients.
