Responsibilities:

  • Handle all types of procurement requests for goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and project schedules.

  • Conduct market evaluations to secure the most efficient prices and high-quality goods and services through comprehensive price comparisons.

  • Prepare both local and international purchase orders in alignment with organizational needs.

  • Oversee the complete end-to-end procurement cycle, ensuring smooth execution at every stage.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs, ensuring alignment with broader organizational priorities.

  • Implement risk mitigation strategies, including supplier diversification and contingency planning, to safeguard against potential disruptions.

  • Continuously work to enhance procurement efficiency, leveraging best practices.

  • Partner with the logistics team to ensure the timely delivery of all orders.

  • Manage supplier relationships and foster strategic partnerships that align with the company’s long-term goals.

  • Solicit quotations in accordance with product specifications and technical drawings.

  • Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, ensuring traceability and transparency both in ERP and shared folders.

  • Ensure completeness of all procurement related records in an appropriate filling system

  • Monitor and evaluate the unrolling of contracts.  Keeping contracts files and using them as reference for the future.

  • Manage price negotiations, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other contractual terms with suppliers.

  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to assess and fulfill product and service requirements.

  • Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms, ensuring cost savings and efficient operations.

  • Resolve quality control issues, delivery problems, and quantity discrepancies when needed.

  • Regularly evaluate vendor performance to ensure consistency in quality and service.

  • Coordinate with internal departments such as finance, legal, and project management to ensure smooth order processing and correct handling of issues related to procurement

  • Conduct cost analysis and set benchmarks to optimize procurement processes.

  • Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, promptly notifying senior management of any obstacles or inefficiencies.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper order processing and timely fulfillment.

  • Establish and maintain vendor databases

  • Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as requested by management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or other relevant discipline;

  • Experience: Proven minimum 5 years of working experience as a Senior Procurement Officer, with minimum 3 years in the same field

  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written Azeri, Russian and English; Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills; Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at a time while paying strict attention to detail; Knowledge of technology market and sourcing/procurement techniques; Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers; Ability to work under pressure.
