Senior Automation QA Engineer

Overview:

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our .NET-based solutions by bridging the gap between development and quality assurance. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and risk mitigation.

This role requires strong technical expertise in test automation, a deep understanding of system architecture, and the ability to proactively identify risks and prevent regressions across complex system and integrations.

You will be responsible for maintaining scalable automation solutions, improving testing processes, and contributing to the overall quality strategy. Experience with Azure-based environments and working with both relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Cosmos DB) is essential.

This role is crucial in ensuring stable, high-quality releases and continuous improvement of the QA process.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases (API, integration)

• Perform exploratory, functional, regression, and performance testing

• Analyze system dependencies to prevent regression issues

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)

• Ensure scalability of automation tests across multiple environments and configurations

• Track, analyze, and improve test execution results and coverage

• Conduct code reviews for test automation

• Collaborate closely with developers and analysts

• Mentor team members on automation best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in QA, including 3+ years in test automation

• Strong experience with C# / .NET for test automation

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools

• Experience with Azure DevOps

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies

• Experience with test design, risk-based testing, and impact analysis

• Experience with CI/CD integration

• Knowledge of SQL and noSQL (Microsoft SQL server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB)

• Ability to analyze system architecture and dependencies

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Good written and verbal English and Russian.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance / load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)

• Experience in insurance area
