Working Pattern: Employee Fixed Term Contract / Full Time

As the Process Designer**, you will:**

  • Represent PD&MS with Clients, Suppliers / Vendors and Certifying Authorities in a professional manner;

  • Identify early to the Lead Designer areas of concern during the course of any project or study;

  • Ensure operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design;

  • Carry out surveys, both onshore and offshore, to determine information to allow execution of works copes;

  • Remain up to date and knowledgeable with technical developments, client, national and international standards and legislative requirements related to the position;

  • Communicate during surveys/site visits with Operations and Maintenance personnel to ensure all requirements are fulfilled and determine any opportunities where PD&MS can provide engineering solutions to existing problems or for improving existing methods;

  • Produce cost effective design solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to both PD&MS and the Client, and motivate discipline personnel to do similarly;

  • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the business drivers within the PD&MS / Client relationship and how these can be influenced by innovative designs and minimum cost solutions;

  • Perform engineering tasks and activities, in accordance with PD&MS QA, HS & E Policies;

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Industry Codes and Standards, HSE Alerts, Statutory Instruments, Client Specifications and Legislative Requirements, and establish order of precedence on a project-by-project basis;

  • Demonstrate safe approach in design and working practises;

  • Adhere to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties, in particular, risk assessment and control, reliability and failure prevention necessary to ensure the safe design of equipment and systems;

  • Demonstrate PD&MS values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent;

  • Previous demonstrable experience in detailed design;

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant oil and gas industry codes and standards;

  • Understanding of all engineering disciplines;

  • Highly competent in the use of Autodesk design products;

  • Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS;

  • Exposure to People Management.

We are currently looking for a Senior Work Pack Engineer who will be responsible for preparing and compiling construction work packs based on engineering deliverables. Please note that the role is open to Azerbaijani nationals only. You can be part of our vision! Working Pattern: Employee Fixed-Term Contract / Full-time As a Senior Work Pack Engineer you will: Attend / chair round table review construction workshops as required Attend kick off meetings and provide input to the project plan Undertake Lead Work Pack Engineer services, if necessary, for short time periods Work closely with construction and design engineers to understand scopes of work with a view to work pack compilation Prepare and compile construction work packs, in the company approved format, in accordance with required project plan or required issue date Provide construction led review of installation methods and materials required during compilation of work pack Liaise with offshore and engineering personnel to ensure every section of the work pack, including GoC or relevant equivalent, is suitably populated Track work packs at different revision states to ensure they are reviewed and approved by all necessary personnel in a timely manner and completed to a suitable revision state Liaise with the Asset Operations function, with particular regard to QHSE Systems and ISSOW compliance (including establishing isolation boundaries) Ensure attachment of work orders and relevant documentation to work packs to ensure highest levels of accuracy is provided Check other work pack group produced work and comment on same Liaise with Project Responsible Person (PRP) to ensure all work is accurately packaged and populated to ensure that a suitably revised work pack is available on time Issue work packs to DCC for transmittal to client Liaise with Client representative to ensure that completed work packs are attached to completed work orders, and archived as appropriate Close out work packs, including all lessons learnt, ensuring that all relevant paperwork is raised as a post-work review Input to project schedules to agree work pack issue dates and update progress against the plan Adhere to the Company Integrated Management System Comply with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies The role offers: Development opportunities: the opportunity to develop within your technical department, to be appreciated, to work with people who have the same goals and are driven to succeed. Working Pattern: Employee Fixed Term Contract / Full Time As the Senior Process Technical Safety Engineer**, you will:** Conduct and review Operational Risk Assessments (e.g. Design Safety Reviews, Constructability Reviews, dropped objects studies); Provide direction and supervision of Engineers and Designers; Identify scope of work required to undertake a project/job and estimate deliverables; Contribute input to project plans and schedules; Immediately identify to Lead Engineer any issue that has the potential to cause change or growth to any area of the project or study, in comparison to the original design intent/deliverables required; Produce cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe, and add value to both PD&MS and the Client; Ensure operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design, seeking input from operations and maintenance personnel; Conduct surveys, both onshore and offshore, to determine information to allow execution of workscopes; Monitor progress of work and achieve completion within the agreed schedule and budget, reporting progress as per PD&MS systems and procedures; Produce and check documents and engineering design deliverables created by own discipline; Review documents circulated by other disciplines for IDC or comment; Review Supplier/Vendor documents; Communicate with other disciplines on design and engineering issues; Check requisitions for purchase of engineered items and services; Attend meetings called by Project Manager/Engineer, e.g., kick-off meeting, progress meeting; Attend Design Reviews, HAZOPs, Constructability Assessments, etc; Represent PD&MS with Clients, Suppliers/Vendors, and Certifying Authorities in a professional manner; Remain up to date with technical developments, client, national, and international standards, and legislative requirements related to the position; Ensure compliance with applicable Industry Codes and Standards, HSE Alerts, Statutory Instruments, Client and PD&MS Specifications, and Legislative Requirements, and establish order of precedence on a project-by-project basis; Ensure all supervised personnel are aware of continuous improvement issues of new technology; Assist with training and development of Graduate Engineers and provide assistance to Design Team Leader for training and development of Trainee Designers; Ensure all supervised personnel are aware of continuous improvement issues of new technology; Assist with the development of Training Plans as required for Azeri National resources (NB: This is a BP Caspian specific responsibility).
