HSE Technician

We are looking for “HSE Technician" (only local candidates will be considered) with the requirements below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in risk assessment activities related to Occupational Safety in production areas, warehouses, technical areas/systems, laboratories, offices, and outdoor environments.

• Participate in Environmental risk assessment activities in production areas, warehouses, technical areas, laboratories, offices, and outdoor environments.

• Plan, implement, and complete the necessary documentation for pest control activities.

• Prepare procedures related to the area of responsibility, monitor implementation, and ensure records are properly maintained.

• Implement and monitor work permit systems within the company and for outsourced services.

• Conduct periodic inspections of safety-related equipment and eliminate non-conformities.

• Regularly inspect compliance with standards and local legislation related to working conditions and processes.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.

• Monitor compliance with safety rules when handling chemicals.

• Monitor the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Support the organization and delivery of HSE trainings.

• Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits.

• Ensure proper maintenance of HSE documentation and records.

Additional requirements:

• Vocational, associate, bachelor’s, or higher education in HSE or other relevant fields.

• Minimum 1–2 years of work experience as an HSE specialist/technician.

• Completion of the “Industrial Technical Safety and Occupational Protection Rules and Regulations” course conducted by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

• Knowledge of management standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of occupational health and technical safety.

• Fluent in Azerbaijani; English is desirable.

• Ability to work in a team. Responsible, attentive, and analytical mindset.

• Active and flexible in field operations.

• Ability to prepare documentation and reports.

• Good command of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

• Ability to work under intensive working conditions when required.

• Male candidates must have completed military service.
