ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary

The Head of Lease and Operations Division is responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s logistics, customs, lease operations, and integrated sales and marketing activities. The role focuses on ensuring efficient logistics and customs operations, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable revenue growth through aligned sales and business development strategies.

This position requires applying analytical methods and management tools to plan, monitor, and optimize logistics and customs processes, including data management, performance analysis, cost control, risk identification, and development of actionable recommendations that support business and operational objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and customs operations, combined with commercial and sales acumen, and the ability to translate customer and market needs into effective operational, sales, and business development strategies. The Head of Lease and Operations will report directly to the Company CEO. Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time as required by the business.

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in logistics operations, customs, freight forwarding, and/or B2B sales within logistics-related industries.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is considered an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience in business development, sales growth, and P&L (Profit & Loss) management.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under operational pressure.

• Knowledge of HSE safety guidelines and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI, and data analysis tools.

• Strong presentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.

• Language skills:

• Azerbaijani – Fluent

• English – Fluent

• Additional languages are considered an advantage
