Head of Finance

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Role overview:

• We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Finance to lead the financial management of our company. The successful candidate will ensure financial stability, transparency, and strategic alignment with business objectives, contributing to Azermaya’s long-term success. The Head of Finance will also work closely with the Group (divisional) controlling team.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards

• Oversee financial reporting, cost control, and cash flow management

• Develop and implement internal control systems and financial policies

• Supervise tax reporting, payroll, and payment operations

• Provide management with accurate financial analysis and insights

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance management, including 3 years in a leadership role

• Excellent command of Azerbaijani and strong command of English (both required); Russian is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of 1C accounting softwareandMicrosoft Excel

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Proven leadership and decision-making ability

• Experience in the audit or manufacturing sector is an asset
