Group Financial Analyst

Work location: Baku

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for the Group of Compaies, and conduct detailed analysis of the results presented in the financial statements and coordinate timely submission.

• Prepare analytical reports for the top management on the financial performance of the Group.

• Assist in developing financial forecasts based on activity analysis.

• Assist in preparation of budgets for companies within the Group and the Group's consolidated budget.

• Monitor the implementation of the approved annual budget, prepare reports on deviations, and work with relevant staff members to propose corrective actions if required.

• Conduct analysis of capital expenditures and their efficiency, make recommendations and monitor the execution.

• Analyze the profitability of projects planned by the Group.

• Calculate profitability of new products and provide recommendations to optimize returns.

Qualifications & experience required:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, accounting, etc.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role.

• Knowledge of languages: Azerbaijan – native, English  - advanced.

• Technical knowledge: IFRS preferred.

• Proficiency in financial reporting and consolidation.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• CIMA, ACCA, PMP (preferred but not mandatory).

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Financial modelling skills preferred.

• Excellent presentation skills.
