To support our growing team, we are seeking a committed Economic Affairs & Market Analysis Officer with strong analytical and strategic skills to help deepen German-Azerbaijani economic ties.
Key Responsibilities
Research, analysis, and structured preparation of information on industries, market conditions, relevant stakeholders, economic policy developments, government strategies and instruments, and macroeconomic data
Identification, assessment and continuous monitoring of market needs in Azerbaijan, particularly in the focus sectors: energy, digitalization, food & agriculture, transport & logistics and water management
Developing and drafting concepts for economic dialogue formats (e.g. events, delegation trips, working groups) as well as organization and implementation of those.
Coordination of AHK working groups, including the preparation and documentation of meetings. Translating the resulting strategies and roadmaps into action.
Contribution to the content design of strategic AHK projects with economic relevance and therefore collaborate with internal departments
Your Profile
University degree in Political Science, Economics, International Relations, or related fields
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an international, economic, or policy-related environment
Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to structure complex information clearly
Experience in preparing reports, policy briefs, or concept papers
Excellent command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of German is an asset
Independent and well-organized work style with a collaborative mindset and hands-on mentality
Strong interest in international economic relations and cross-cultural cooperation
